Contralto and actress.
Educations: Humanistic. Vocal technique and repertoire with: maestro Floriana Cavalli, m. Franco Corelli, m. Delfo Menicucci. Seminars and master classes with: maestro Rolando Panerai, m. Giovanni Acciai, m. Stefano Adabbo. Repertoire: maestro Sergio Cortese, m. Gioele Muglialdo. Music and theatre project: In 1985 Mariacinzia establishes in cooperation with pianist and arranger Mauro Sabbione the musical ensemble MELODRAMA, and producing performances, records, concerts, all stressing a fusion among various kinds of music, particularly Mediterranean music. MELODRAMA joins important festivals and events such as: Festival of Polverigi ; Festival of Rivoli; Festival of Montalcino; ”Review of theatre systems in Cremona” organized by Amilcare Ponchielli theatre in Cremona; multimedia experience on Ernesto Che Guevara between Italy and Cuba (Teatro Nacional de La Habana) and introduction of the same performance at “Piccolo Teatro” in Milan together with Armando Hart Davalos, minister of culture in Cuba. In 2003 Mariacinzia begins to explore the jewish cultural, musical, and theatrical heritage with Pier Gallesi and together they develop a theatrical-concert style of performance. Their debut: Jewish Sacred and Profane Songs – voice and accordion – Puccini Hall in conservatoire “G. Verdi”, Milan during the “Marathon of Music”. Also performed during the “Jewish Culture Day”, 2008 Studio-Theatre Foce in Lugano, Switzerland. From 2005 Mariacinzia and Pier create a duo called Stellerranti. *First performance: passages from “Viennese Kaddish” and arias from “Moved toward West” by Mikhail Berman Cikijnowskij, writer and physician from Ukraine, music by Timor Kogan, jewish Russian composer (Synagogue “Lev Chadash”- Milan; Palazzo dell’Ottocento, Vigevano; “Five Days of Contemporary Music” Festival, 2009; Week of Religions – Space “Ciani” in Lugano, Switzerland, October 2008). Performances on Jewish culture. *”A night for Tarkowskij- The Jews of Tarkowskij” a drama play in music and words (Foundation Piacenza e Vigevano, Piacenza) with Nuccio Lodato and Mariapia Pagani. *”Listening the light” an essay on Janus Korckzak – Dario Arkel (Editions Atì).
